SL04 USB Connection to Computer Shows Repeated Plug-in and Reset Sounds – Solution

This is caused by insufficient power supply from the computer’s USB port to the box, so you need to check the following:

1: Flip the USB Type-C connector on the box side upside down and reinsert it into the box. By flipping it, check whether the connection to the Type-C port is poor (the internal pins of the Type-C interface are symmetric, so the direction does not matter, just insert it).
2: Try a shorter Type-C cable to see if the repeated reset still occurs.
3: Computers usually have multiple USB ports. Try another USB port, especially for desktops, where the front USB ports are connected by jumper wires and have less power capacity than the rear motherboard USB ports.
4: Check the USB hardware driver property settings to see if USB sleep mode or USB power output limits are enabled. Some laptops’ power-saving modes restrict the current output of USB ports to save energy. The SL04 box is not a low-power device like a mouse or keyboard and requires close to 500mA of power, so ensure the USB port can supply enough power.
5: If you cannot solve it yourself, you can first connect via the LAN port to the computer, then access http://2.0.0.44, tell us the box version, and then contact us for a solution.
