This is a critical upgrade for the SL04 box – EVERYONE must update to this version!
Technical Upgrades (After 2025-07-27):
✅ Removed IP Restrictions – Previously only supported the 2.x.x.x subnet, now open to 10.x.x.x, 192.x.x.x, and other arbitrary ranges.
✅ Flexible Subnet Mask – No longer limited to 255.255.255.0; now supports masks like 255.0.0.0.
✅ Multi-Destination Output – ArtNet data is now sent to both the box’s IP segment and 127.0.0.1/loopback NIC/same-subnet built-in NIC, making it easier to connect to Depence2/3D software and external expanders.
✅ Resolved Bandwidth Congestion – The SL04 box’s USB NIC (12M) and RJ45 LAN port (10M) no longer experience bottlenecks due to plugin optimizations.
✅ Fixed Built-in NIC High-Priority Data Interception – This issue has been completely eliminated.
✅ Fixed Frequent “Box Not Detected” Issue on Windows 10.
✅ Reduced Computer Resource Usage.
Note: In the 3D software like Depence, do not select the Box Network Card. Please choose 127.0.0.1, the loopback network card, or the built-in network card (as long as the subnet is the same as SL04 box). These network cards will output data for 32 universe. If you select the Box Network Card, it will only output the universe corresponding to the box’s actual output ports (4 universe).
Unlock MA3 32-Universe Quick Setup Guide:
Run MakeFakeKey.exe → Click GetKey → Download the plugin (supports ALL MA3 versions).
After extraction, copy the two files to the MA3 directory(C:\Program Files\MALightingTechnology\gma3_2.2.5\bin) → Add them to your antivirus whitelist.
Launch MA3 – Works out of the box with no configuration! For the Session IP, it is recommended to use 127.0.0.1 or another built-in network card, and avoid selecting the Box Network Card’s IP address.
